Ironhand are a solo project from New Jersey that plays a mixture of agrotech and industrial with a touch of black metal and this is a review of his 2017 album "Poison" w hich was released by Xperiment XIII.
Electronic sounds and robotic voices start off the album and after the intro synths are added onto the recording along with vocals that mix industrial and black metal together while the music is a more electronic orientated style of the previous genre mentioned and a good portion of the tracks a re very long and epic in length.
Clean playing can be heard in certain sections of the recording and the songs also mix in elements of dark ambient, aggrotech, and ebm along with a great amount of programmed beats and there is also a brief use of melodic guitar leads and heavy guitar riffs can also be heard briefly along with some elements of atmospheric and symphonic metal and melodic vocals can also be heard briefly.
Ironhand plays a music style that takes aggrotech, ebm and industrial and mixes it in with elements of black and atmospheric metal to create a sound of his own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover serial killing, torture, H.P Lovecraft, Satanism, terminal illness and the end times.
In my opinion Ironhand are a very great sounding mixture of aggrotech, industrial and ebm with a touch of black metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Satan Is My Bitch" "She's Terminal" "Three Days Rotting" and "Halo of Vultures". 8 out of 10.
