Devth Of The Sunn/Haexecnth/2017 Split Album Review

This  is  a  review  of  a  collaboration  between  Brazil's  Devth  Of  The  Sunn  and  Haexecnth  which  mixes  dark  ambient,  noise,  and  drone  together  and  the  album  was  self  released  in  2017.

Ambient  sounding  drones  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  ritualistic  soundscapes  a  few  seconds  later  and  black  metal  elements  are  also  utilized  at  times  along  with  some  atmospheric  sounding  synths  also  being  added  into  certain  sections  of  the  recording  and  all  of  the  tracks  are  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

At  times  they  music  also  brings  in  a  very  ritualistic  and  occult  atmosphere  while  touches  of  noise  and  death  industrial  can  also  be  heard  in  some  parts  of  the  tracks  which  also  all  sound  different  from  each  other  along  with  most  of  the  music  being  instrumental  and  guitars  can  also  be  heard  briefly.

On  this  recording  Devth  Of  the  Sunn  and  Haexecnth  team  up  and  create  a  very  dark  and  ritualistic  recording  that  mixes  drone,  noise,  and  ambient  together  and  the  production  sounds  very  dark.

In  my  opinion  this  is  a  very  great  sounding collaboration  from  Devth  Of  The  Sunn  and  Haexecnth  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  dark  ambient,  noise  and  drone,  you  should  check  out  this  split.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Inkvrs  Elvs"  and  "VI".  8  out  of  10.

Devth of The Sunn/Ritam Von Opasni/2017 Split Album Review

This  is  a  review  of  a  collaboration  split  between  Brazil's  Devth  Of  The  Sunn  and  Croatia's  Ritam  Von  Opasni  which  is  in  the  mixture  of  drone, dark  ambient  and  blackened  noise  direction  and  was  also  self  released  in  2017.

Distorted  sounding  drones  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  touches  of  power  electronics  and  harsh  noise  and  after  awhile  elements  of  black  metal  start  to  make  their  presence  known  along  with  some  spoken  word  parts  also  being  utilized  at  times  and  all  of t he  tracks  are  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

At  times  the  music  gets  very  ritualistic  along  with  some  experimental  and  avant  garde  elements  while  guitar  amp noises  and  riffs  that  also  gives  the  songs  a touch  of  sludge  and  doom  metal  and  black  metal  screams  are  also  used  at  times  and  on  one  track  they  borrow  some  lyrics  from  Mayhem's  "Cursed  In  Eternity"  and  they  also  keep  everything  in  a  slwo  direction.

On  this  recording  Devth  Of  The  Sunn  and  Ritam  Von  Opasni  team  up  and  create  a  recording  that  mixes  drone,  dark  ambient,  harsh  noise  along  with  elements  of  black  and  doom  metal  to  create  a  very  dark,  heavy  and  ritualistic  recording  while  the  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw.

In  my  opinion  this  is  a  very  great  sounding  collaboration  between  Devth  Of  The  Sunn  and  Ritam  Von  Opasmi  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  drone,  dark  ambient,  harsh  noise,  ritual,  black  and  doom  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "D.C"  and  "L.M.I.D".  8  out  of  10.

Devth Of The Sunn/Kvpsvm Vlcere Odervm Cilest/2017 Demo Review

Devth  Of  The  Sunn  are  a  duo  from  Brazil  that  plays  a  dark  and  ritualistic  mixture  of  drone  sludge,  and  doom  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2017  demo  "Kvpsvm  Vlcere  Odervm Cilest".

Distorted  sounding  drones  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  heavy  guitar  riffs  a  few  seconds  later  that also  add  in  touches  of  sludge  and  doom  metal  and  after  a  few  minutes  grim  black  metal  screams  can  be  heard  in  certain  sections  of  the  recording  along  with  most  of  the  tracks  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length,

As  the  demo  progresses  the  music  gets  more  ritualistic  and  spoken  word  parts  are  also  utilized  at  times  while  elements  of  experimental  and  ambient  can  also  be  heard  in  certain  sections  of  the  recording  and  all  of  the  music  sticks  to  a  very  slow  yet  dark  musical  direction.

Devth  Of  The  Sunn plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  drone,  ritualistic  music  and  doom  metal  and  mixes  it  in  with  a  touch  of  black  metal  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own  and  the  production  sounds  very  dark  and  lo-fi.

In  my  opinion  Devth  Of  The  Sunn are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  drone, ritual  and  doom  metal  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should  check  out  this  duo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Vrks  II - Vpep  Eclipsis".  8  out  of  10.
