This is a review of a collaboration split between Brazil's Devth Of The Sunn and Croatia's Ritam Von Opasni which is in the mixture of drone, dark ambient and blackened noise direction and was also self released in 2017.
Distorted sounding drones start off the album along with some touches of power electronics and harsh noise and after awhile elements of black metal start to make their presence known along with some spoken word parts also being utilized at times and all of t he tracks are very long and epic in length.
At times the music gets very ritualistic along with some experimental and avant garde elements while guitar amp noises and riffs that also gives the songs a touch of sludge and doom metal and black metal screams are also used at times and on one track they borrow some lyrics from Mayhem's "Cursed In Eternity" and they also keep everything in a slwo direction.
On this recording Devth Of The Sunn and Ritam Von Opasni team up and create a recording that mixes drone, dark ambient, harsh noise along with elements of black and doom metal to create a very dark, heavy and ritualistic recording while the production sounds very dark and raw.
In my opinion this is a very great sounding collaboration between Devth Of The Sunn and Ritam Von Opasmi and if you are a fan of drone, dark ambient, harsh noise, ritual, black and doom metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "D.C" and "L.M.I.D". 8 out of 10.
