Silent Island are a band from Hungary that plays an instrumental form of post rock with some atmospheric metal elements and this is a review of his 2018 album "Fall Of Oceans" which will be released in May as a joint effort between Beverina and Casus Belli Musica.
Acoustic guitar playing starts off the album and they bring in elements of post rock while the music also brings in a great amount of shoegaze influences along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them as well as the drum beats being programmed.
All of the musical is instrumental while elements of indie rock can also be heard quite a bit throughout the recording along with some of the music adding an influences of progressive and atmospheric metal and all of the songs stick to a slow direction.
Silent Island plays a style of post rock that is all instrumental and also adds in touches of indie rock and post metal and the production also sounds very dark.
In my opinion Silent Island are a very great sounding instrumental post rock band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Distant Land" "The Fallen Shallow" "Queen Hurricane" and "The Journey Never Ends". 8 out of 10.
