Order Of Victory are a band from Russia that plays a mixture of martial and neo-folk music and this a review of their 2013 album "Nemo Oblivioni Tradita Est, Nihil Oblivioni Tradita Est" which was released by Casus Belli Musica.
Drums are all slow martial beats which gives the music a war like feeling, while the synths bring a very dark, atmospheric, medieval and neo folk sound to the recording and besides the drums and synths there are no other musical instruments present on this recording.
Vocals are mostly clean singing neo folk music vocals with some spoken word parts being utilized at times, while the lyrics cover the first 2 world wars, Russian civil war and the poetry of N. Gumilev, as for the production it has a very strong and powerful sound with a couple of the songs being long and epic in length.
In my opinion Order Of Victory are a very great sounding hybrid of martial and neo folk and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Pray" "White Dance Of Death" and "Hope". RECOMMENDED BUY.
