Six Reasons To Kill are a band from Germany that has been featured before in this zine with a musical style that mixes melodic death metal and hardcore together with some black metal elements and this is a review of their 2013 album "We Are Ghosts" which was released by Massacre Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very strong and powerful sound with heavy riffing that dominates throughout the recording, as for the synths when they are utilized they bring a very dark and atmospheric sound to the recording as well as mixing in elements of electronic music.
Rhythm guitars range from slow to mid paced riffs that combine melodic death metal with metalcore and hardcore to create a sound of their own, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding death metal guitar solos and leads, as for the acoustic guitars which are only use briefly they use finger picking and full chords to add some darkness to the music.
Vocals range from deep death/metalcore growls, high pitched melodic death/black metal screams and some clean singing as well as a brief spoken word part, while the lyrics cover violent, dark and hateful themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Six Reasons To Kill and if you are a fan of this band, you should enjoy this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "We Are Hosts" "God Of The Dead" 'Betrayer" and "Fuck Hipster". RECOMMENDED BUY.
