Les Jumeaux Discordants are a band from Italy that plays a ritualistic misture of electronic and goth music and this is a review of their 2015 album "Les Chimeres" which was released by Athanor.
Breathing noises start off the album along with some militant drum beats and operatic female vocals a few seconds later and the music also starts getting more experimental and avant garde as well as adding in ambient style synths while on other tracks they also bring in the atmosphere of a 70's horror movie.
You n hear elements of goth, darkwave and electronic music quite a bit throughout the recording and spoken word parts can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and they add more of a ritualistic feeling to the songs when they are utilized and one track also brings in grim vocals that also add a touch of black metal onto the recording.
Les Jumeaux Discordants plays a musical style that takes darkwave, goth and electronic music and mix it in with ritualistic elements to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very dark while the lyrics are written in Latin and cover poetic and mythological themes.
In my opinion Les Jumeaux Discordant are a very great sounding mixture of ritual, goth, darkwave and electronic music and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Mrytho" :Delfica" "Le Destn" and "Wisdom". 8 out of 10.
