Denver, Colorado's solo project Dod Beverte has returned with a new recording which shows the music going into more of an experimental direction and this is a review of his self released 2018 album "Peace, Love And Angry Noise".
A very powerful sounding bass guitar starts off the album along with some clean vocals a few seconds later while spoken word parts are also utilized at times as well as some distorted guitar leads being used briefly and when synths are utilized they give the music more of an avant garde feeling.
At times the music gets very experimental while death metal growls and harsh noises are also added into certain sections of the recording along with one of the songs introduces acoustic guitars into the music as well as every track sounding very different from each other.
On this recording Dod Beverte goes into more of an experimental and avant garde direction while also having influences of harsh noise and death metal, the production sounds very dark while the lyrics cover politically incorrect and offensive themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Dod Beverte and if you are a fan of avant garde and experimental rock, you should check out this album.
