It-Clings/I'm The Biggest Fucking Thing In The Whole Fucking World/Bugs Crawling Out Of People/2012 Double CD Review

It-Clings  is  a  solo  artist  from  Canada  that  plays  a  musical  style  he  refers  to  as  spoken  wordcore  and  this  is  a  review  of  his  double  2012  album  "I'm  The  Biggest  Fucking  Thing  In  The  World"  which  was  released  by  Bugs  Crawling  Out  Of  People.

Ambient  soundscapes  start  off  the  album  along  with  some  drones  before  adding  in  spoken  word  parts  which  are  the  biggest  thing  on  this  recording  and  programmed  beats  can  also  be  heard  in  the  music  at  times  which  also  gives  the  music  more  of  an  industrial  feeling  and  the  music  can  also  get  very  experimental at  times.

Avant  garde  elements  can  be  heard  in  certain  sections  of the recording  while  some  tracks  also  bring  in  tribal  style  beats  and  synths  along  with  traces  of electronic  music  and  some  of  the  tracks  are  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  as  the  album  progresses  electric  guitars  and  harsh  noises  can  be  heard  in  certain  sections  of  the  recording  while  later  tracks  also  bring  in  a  touch  of  neo  classical and  there  is  also  a  great  amount  of  re-mixes  while  one  song  adds  in  a  slight  hip  hop  traces.

It-Clings  plays  a  musical style  that takes  industrial,  ambient,  hip  hop,  noise, experimental  and  ebm  and  adds  his  spoken  word  to t hese  styles  to  create  something  very  original,  the  production  sounds  very  powerful  while  the  lyrics  are  very  egotistical  and  self  centered  and  giving  the  impression  the  narrator  is  an  asshole  who  thinks  he  is  better  than  everybody  else  and  thinking  he  is  a  god.

In  my opinion  It-Clings  is  a  very  great  sounding  experimental  spoken wordcore  solo  artist  and  if  you  are  looking  for  something  very  original  and  different,  you  should  check  out  this  double  album.  8  out  of  10.
