This is a review of a compilation called "Ritus Terra Prolis" which was released by Kalpamantra during the year of 2010 and we will review the songs one by one.
Coph'Antae Tryr brings us "Taemykon" a very dark and ritualistic ambient/drone song that has some very evil and demonic soundscapes in the background.
Next up is Kammerheit with "Dreamhours" a very long and epic in length experimental dark ambient/drone song which utilizes a great amount of avant garde sound effects.
Next up is Phragments with "Chant Of The Forsaken" another long and epic occult dark ambient/drone song.
Next up is Terra Sancta with "Cold Light Infusion" a very long and epic in length experimental dark ambient song.
Next up is New Risen Throne with "Signs of The Approaching Wastefulness III" another very long and epic dark ambient/drone song.
Next up is Crepuscaler with "Endovenous Bitterness" a very dark sounding ambient drone song with experimental soundscapes with the song being shorter than the previous ones.
Next up is Phelios with "Astral Vision(Celestial Temple Remix)" a very dark and ritualistic ambient song which is very atmospheric.
Next up is Visions with "Vortex" a very and epic atmospheric dark ambient song which utilizes drone soundscapes in the background.

Next up is Barbarossa Umtrunk with "Kampfbound Rotelweih 1919" a more militant sounding neo-classical song about war with some spoken word samples.

Next up is Liber Infernus Messer with "Kiteba Cilwe-Book I" a more ritualistic sounding hybrid of industrial, experimental and noise along with an evil and occult sound that brings in a black metal feeling.
Next up is Kristoffer Nystroms Orkester with "Asphalt Flowers' a song more in the experimental noise vein with a great amount of spoken word part samples.
Next up is Atheus with "Infinitus" a more atmospheric sounding dark ambient song with drone soundscapes.
Next up is Seeker with "Realms Of Dagon" a very long and epic in length ritualistic, occult dark ambient drone song with some spoken word samples that sound very demonic.
Next up is Arkane with "Mesmeric Seduction" a song that mixes dark ambient with neo-classical with some opera vocals.
Next up is 20 S.V. with "Disfigured Children-Radioactive Generation" a more experimental ambient song that also mixes in elements of noise music.
Closing the compilation is Lucas Darklord with "Corpse Upon Corpse hey Lie" a very long and epic in length ambient noise song.
In conclusion this is a great compilation" and I would recommend it to all fans of ritual, dark ambient, experimental and noise music. RECOMMENDED.
