Noestalgya are a solo project from Indonesia that plays an instrumental and depressive form of dark ambient and this is a review of his 2011 ep "Good Bye..." which was released by Cvlminis.
A very dark ambient synth sound starts off the album bringing in the atmosphere of the ambient tracks black metal bands did in the mid 90's and there are no vocals or lyrics present anywhere on the recording and the music also sticks to a very slow, primitive yet calm musical direction while different sounding keys are also utilized at times and the recording closes with cover's of Burzum's "The Crying Orc" and "Sial's "Busuk Hati".
Noestalgya plays a style of dark ambient that is all instrumental and depressive sounding while also being all done on synths and bringing in an influence of black metal and th e production also has a very dark sound.
In my opinion Noestalgya are a very great sounding instrumental and depressive dark ambient project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Goodbye" and "And Only Night Can Help Me". 8 out of 10.
