Tyler Milchmann is a solo artist from Ukraine that plays a dark form of industrial and this is a review of his 2012 album "Strange Days" which was released by bugs Crawling Out Of People.
Rain sounds start off the album along with some ambient style keyboards which also gives the music more of a dark and tragic atmosphere and after the intro programmed beats and melodic industrial style singing is added onto the recording and some tracks also bring in elments of martial and neo classical.
Synths and programmed beats are the most dominant instruments on the recording and the music also mixes in a great amount of EBM and electronic music elements as well as bringing in touches of goth and synth pop at times and one of the tracks is very long and epic in length and a couple of the tracks are all instrumental while one song brings in female vocals.
Tyler Milchmann plays a style of dark industrial that is very synth orientated while also adding in touches of goth and neo classical, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in a mixture of German and English and cover twisted and surreal themes.
In my opinion Tyler Milchmann is a very great sounding dark industrial solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Veitstanz" "Devil Is An Old Man From Radio" "Alle Kinder" and "Die Promenade". 8 out of 10.
