Sisilisko are a band from Sweden that plays folk rock with influences from doom and black metal and this is a review of their self released 2013 ep "Prepare To Die?Under Your Skin".
Acoustic guitars are all folk rock riffs that use finger picking and full chords as well as mixing in doom and black metal elements in the darker side of the riffing along with some distorted parts being thrown in at times along with some guitar leads.
Vocals are mostly clean singing folk rock vocals that utilize some more aggressive elements at times as well as mixing in some nature samples at times, while the lyrics cover dark themes, as for the production it has a very dark and old school 70's sound to it.
In my opinion Sisilisko are a very great sounding folk rock band with elements of doom and black metal and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this e.p. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Under Your Skin". RECOMMENDED BUY.
