Pornostroika Dadaifi are a band from Greece that has been featured before in this zine and plays a mixture of industrial, metal, hardcore and cyber punk and this is a review of their self released 2015 album "Heavy Metal Poisoning Weimer Assembly".
Programmed drum beats and melodic goth rock style guitar leads start off the album along with some spoken word and after a few seconds metal influenced guitar riffs make their presence known on the recording and the vocals also get very demonic at times and after awhile industrial elements are added into the music.
Synths can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording along with some black metal screams and all of the songs are very experimental and some of the later tracks bring in elements of disco, funk and noise along with a couple of the songs being remix'es and some of the guitar riffs also start utilizing more melody and there is also a brief use of acoustic guitars.
Pornostroika Dadaifi creates another experimental album that takes metal, hardcore, industrial and cyber punk and mixes them together to create another original sounding recording, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Dadaism, Science Fiction and Class War themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Pornostroika Dadaifi and if you are a fan of experimental, industrial, metal and cyber punk, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Barbarian Futurism" "NZ's On The Trees" and "Obama The Black Hitler". 8 out of 10.
