Brian Grainger is a solo artist from Ohio that plays a mixture of noise, drone, minimalism and dark ambient and this is a review of his 2022 album "Dissolving In A Body" which was released by Momentarily Records.
Synth orientated drones start off the album while both of the tracks are also over 40 minutes in length, At times the music also gets very repetitive sounding which also gives the recording a perfect soundtrack for meditation along with the synths also adding in elements of dark ambient and minimalism.
Electronic noises are also added on the second track while both songs also stick to an instrumental direction and all of the music is very improvised and keeps it simple with little to no variation.
Brian Grainger plays a musical style that takes noise, drone, dark ambient and minimalism and mixes them together to create a sound of his own as well as keeping everything instrumental while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion Brian Grainger is a very great sounding mixture of noise, drone, dark ambient and minimalism and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Yellow Session". 8 out of 10.
