This is a review of a split ep between Russia's Order Of Victory and Italy's TSIDZM which was released by Casus Belli Musica and we will start off the review with Order Of Victory a band that has been featured before in this zine and plays a mixture of martial and neo folk.
Their side of the split starts out with violins and people noises and a few seconds later melodic vocals are added into the song along with some acoustic guitars which also gives the music more of a medieval folk feeling and when drum beats are added into the track it gives the music more of a martial feeling, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover Ancient Rome.
In my opinion this is another great sounding track from Order Of Victory and if you are a fan of this band, you should check out this song.
Next up is TSIDMZ a band that plays a mixture of martial and electro industrial.
Their side of the split starts out with experimental sounds and melodic chanting that is sampled from an orthodox church and the song goes for more of an underground style of martial and industrial and can also be very primitive at times, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics deal with Ancient Rome.
In my opinion TSIDMZ are a very great sounding mixture of martial and industrial and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of martial, neo folk and industrial. 8 out of 10.
