Sensor are a band from Portugal that plays a mixture of noise, drone, industrial, experimental and free jazz and this is a review of their 2022 album "Flashes In The Danger Zone" which was released by Khthon.
Saxophones start off the album and also give the songs more of an avant garde touch when they are utilized. Atmospheric sounding drones can also b e heard in certain sections of the recording while the drums also add in elements of free jazz as well as all of the music also sticking to an instrumental direction.
Both of the tracks are also very long and epic in length while all of the songs are also improvised. At times the music also gets very experimental sounding along with some noises, industrial and electronic sounds also being added into certain sections of the recording and electric guitars are also utilized at times.
Sensor plays a musical style that takes noise, drone, industrial, experimental and free jazz and mixes them together to create a sound of their own as well as keeping everything instrumental while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion Sensor are a very great sounding mixture of noise, drone, industrial, experimental and free jazz and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "They All leave in The Summer". 8 out of 10.
