MUHD are a solo project from France that plays a mixture of dark ambient, drone and post rock and this is a review of his 2014 album "Dilogia" which was re-issued in 2021 by Cyclic Law.
Dark ambient style synths which also use a variety of many different sounding keys start off the album while the music also mixes in a good amount of cinematic sounding drones. Some of the tracks are also very long and epic in length as well as the music also mixing in guitars in an unconventional way.
All of the music is also instrumental while the songs also mix in a great amount of diversity and the guitars also mix in elements of post rock. Each track also sounds very different from each other along with the music also having its melodic moments as well as the songs also evoking a very dark atmosphere.
MUHD plays a musical style that takes dark ambient, drone and post rock and mixes them together to create a sound of his own as well as keeping everything instrumental while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion MUHD are a very great sounding mixture of dark ambient, drone and post rock and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Komorebi" and "Kychtym". 8 out of 10.
