This is a review of a track from Norway's solo project Picture Ann which shows the music going for a mixture of experimental and dark ambient and the single was released in 2022 by Floodgate moods Productions and called "A Lonely Moorland".
Clean playing starts off the song along with some elements of ambient a few seconds later while all of the drum beats are programmed. Synths can also be heard at times and the track also always sticks to a slow and instrumental musical direction.
On this recording Picture Ann goes for more of a clean guitar approach to experimental and dark ambient. The production sounds very dark while the song themes focus on the bleak moorlands of Jutland.
In my opinion this is another great sounding track from Picture Ann and if you are a fan of experimental and d ark ambient, you should check out this single. 8 out of 10.
