Uncertain are a duo from France that plays an occult mixture of avant garde, experimental, post industrial and dark ambient and this is a review of their 2015 album "The Price Of Existence Is Eternal Warfare (Live Invocations)" which was released by Wraith Productions and consists of live experts from 2013 to 2015.
Drones and audience sounds start off the album and after a few seconds folk instruments are also added onto the recording along with some harsh noises and after awhile the music becomes very avant garde and ritualistic along with a variety of many different sounds and the evil whispers in the background bring in the evil atmosphere of black metal.
Tribal beats can be heard in some parts of the songs along with percussion's while female chants and screams can also be heard at times and the bells and gongs also enhance the ritualistic atmosphere of the songs when they are utilized and some of the tracks are very long and epic in length and the saxophones along with spo0ken word samples also takes the music into even more of a bizarre direction and the last track brings in melodic female choirs.
Uncertain plays a musical style on this recording that takes ritualistic and occult music and mixes it with avant garde, experimental, post industrial and ambient to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Goetic, Qliptoth, Left Hand Path and Occultism themes.
In my opinion Uncertain are a very great sounding occult mixture of avant garde, experimental, post industrial and dark ambient and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Ayin Pan(ic)" "Dance Of Witches And Demons" and "We're the Only Ones Left Alive". 8 out of 10.
