Earthflesh are a solo project from Geneva, Switzerland that plays a mixture of harsh noise, industrial, drone and experimental and this is a review of his self released 2020 album "Carving Paths To Self Destruction".
Distorted sounding drones start off the album while both of the tracks are also very long and epic in length, After awhile the music will also start getting more diverse after a few minutes of repetitiveness while also introducing power electronics onto the recording which also introduces elements of harsh noise into the music.
Both of the tracks are also instrumental while the music also gets very experimental sounding at times. Both of the songs also sound very different from each other along with some touches of death industrial also being utilized at times as well as the music also bringing in a very apocalyptic orientated atmosphere.
Earthflesh plays a musical style that takes harsh noise, drone, industrial and experimental and mixes them together to create a sound of his own while also keeping everything instrumental and the production also sounds very dark.
In my opinion Earthflesh is a very great sounding mixture of harsh noise, industrial, drone and experimental and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Malaise". 8 out of 10.
