This is the final review of a recording from Portugal's Metadevice which shows the music going for a mixture of death industrial, harsh noise, power electronics, dark ambient and drone and the album w as released in 2020 by Malignant Records and called "Ubiquitarchia" which was released by Malignant Records.
Synths start off the album while a great portion of the tracks are also very long and epic in length. Power electronics are also a very huge part of the recording while the music also brings in a great amount of industrial elements as well as some spoken word samples also being utilized at times.
Harsh noises are also a very huge part of the recording while the music also brings in a great amount of programmed beats. Atmospheric sounding drones can also be heard at times along with all of the tracks also sounding very different from each other as well as all of the music also avoiding the use of regular or screamed vocals.
On this recording Metadevice takes his mixture of death industrial, harsh noise, power electronics, drone and dark ambient to a different level that was not explored on previous releases and the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Metadevice and if you are a fan of death industrial, harsh noise, power electronics, drone and dark ambient, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Teletopian Nightmare" "Technocratic Philanthropy" and "The Implosion Of Meaning". 8 out of 10.
