B.U.D.D.A are a musical project with members from Germany and Switzerland that plays a meditative mixture of dark ambient and drone and this is a review of their 2019 album "Der Gutemm Dinge Drei" which was released by Attenuation Circuit.
Ambient style drones start off the album while all 3 of the tracks are very long and epic in length. Electronic sounds are also added into some parts of the music along with synths also being a very huge part of the recording and programmed beats are also added into some parts of the tracks.
Most of the music is also all instrumental while guitar sounds can also be heard at times along with some spoken word parts also being used briefly. Field recordings and samples are also added into some parts of the album which also makes the songs more diverse sounding as well as one track also introducing electronic sounds onto the recording, all of the tracks also sound very different from each other.
B.U.D.D.A plays a musical style that takes dark ambient, drones, field recordings and meditative music and mixes them together to create a sound of their own and the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion B.U.D.D.A are a very great sounding meditative mixture of dark ambient and drone and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Magischer Rochentaz". 8 out of 10.
