Fixateur Externe are a musical project from Hungary that plays a mixture of sound poetry, musique concrete, experimental and noise and this is a review of their 2019 album "Ready-Made" which was released by Unsigned.
Atmospheric sounding loops start off the album while voices and vocals can also be heard in the background. Most of the tracks are very long and epic in length along with the music also having its experimental and avant garde moments as well as some programmed beats also being utilized at times.
Touches of industrial can also be heard at times along with the songs also adding in some DIY musical instruments. Elements of noise can also be heard at times while all of the tracks also sound very different from each other as well as the music also getting more diverse as the album progresses.
Fixateur Externe plays a musical style that takes sound poetry, musique concrete, experimental and noise and mixes them together to create a sound of their own while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion Fixateur Externe are a very great sounding mixture of sound poetry, musique concrete, experimental and noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this musical project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Iga-dada" and "Die katze". 8 out of 10.
