This is a review of a collaboration album between Russia's Sadon and France's Treha Sektori called "Symphony Of Dying" which shows the 2 artists mixing their different approaches of dark ambient together and the album will be released on December 21st by Cyclic Law.
Dark soundscapes start off the album along with the synths also mixing in a variety of many different sounding keys. Clean playing can also be heard in some parts of the recording as well as the music being very heavily rooted in dark ambient and the artists also bring in a mixture of solo and collaboration tracks.
Some of the tracks are instrumentals while some songs also bring in some melodic vocals and when percussion and drum beats are utilized they also give the music more of a tribal and ritualistic feeling. All of the songs also sound very different from each other as well as all of the music sticking to a slower direction.
Sadon and Treha Sektori take their 2 different approaches to dark ambient and mix them them together to create something very different. The production sounds very dark while the lyrics cover death themes.
In my opinion this is a very great sounding collaboration between Sadon and Treha Sektori and if you are a fan of dark ambient, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Elimination" and "Aegeus". 8 out of 10.
