This is a review of a compilation from Attenuation Circuit called "Another Bean Sits Tough Right Ahead" which consists of some musical artists in the experimental, noise and ambient musical genres and we will review the tracks one by one.
Philippe Neau brings "oOhne" which starts out with some experimental soundscapes while the track is also over 10 minutes in length. Field recordings can also be heard in the background while the music also adds in a decent amount of atonal melodies and as the track progresses elements of electronic music can also be heard.
Sound_00 brings us "Metal Kratovo" which starts out with some field recordings and home made instruments. The track is also 11 minutes in length as well as all of the music sticking to an instrumental direction and also having its experimental and avant garde moments.
Walter Finni brings us "Echoes" which starts out with some field recordings and experimental soundscapes while his track is also over 9 minutes in length. Voices can also be heard in the background at times along with the music also adding in some avant garde style synths and electronica elements, programmed beats are also utilized at times.
BR brings us "A sto ako ti kazam deka ovoj svet e samo obid, verba i cekorenje kon podobroto" which starts out with ambient style soundscapes while the track is also over 10 minutes in length. At times the music also gets very experimental sounding along with some repetitive beats also being utilized for a few minutes on end.
The Subaquatic Bulleton Services Bueeau brings us "Recent Transmissions" which starts out with some electronic music and industrial elements while the track is also over 8 minutes in length and also gets very experimental and avant garde at times along with some pianos as well as adding in some touches of noise.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding collection and I would recommend this compilation to all fans of experimental, noise, field recordings and electronic music. 8 out of 10.
