Stadlmeir is a solo artist from Germany that plays a mixture of experimental, minimalism, drone and improv and on this recording he teams up with Guiguisuisui and Gerald Fiebeg and this is a review of their album "Enchantments" which was released by Attenuation Circuit.
An almost silent sound starts off the album before adding in some field recordings along with the track being over 27 minutes in length. At times the music also gets very experimental and avant garde sounding as well as the song also adding in a decent mount of atmospheric sounding drones.
At times the music also captures an improv atmosphere along with some electronic sounds and effects also being utilized at times. Guitars and bass sounds can also be heard briefly but done in more of an unconventional way and as the album progresses a brief use of female vocals can also be heard.
Stadlmeir, Guiguisuisuim and Gearld Fieberg takes experimental, minimalism, drone and improv and mixes them together to create a sound of their own and the production also sounds very dark.
In my opinion this is a very great sounding recording from Stadlmeir , Guiguisuisui & Gerald Fiebeg and if you are a fan of experimental, minimalism, drone and improv, you should check out this album. 8 out of 10.
