Akoustik Timbre Frequency are a band from the United Kingdom that plays an experimental and ritualistic form of dark ambient/drone and this is a review of their 2011 ep "Nivritti" which was released by Kalpamantra.
Synths bring some dark ambient drone soundscapes to the music, while the sound effects have an experimental, avant garde ritualistic sound to them with the songs being very long and epic in length.
Vocals and songwriting are all absent from this recording with all of the music being instrumental, while the song concepts revolve around Eastern Occultism, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Akoustik Timbre Frequency are a very great sounding ritualistic dark ambient band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED.
