P.U.M.A are a duo from Italy that plays a mixture of noise, dark ambient and electronic music and this is a review of their 2024 album "Nuages" which was released by Musique Moleculaire Label.
Dark soundscapes start off the album along with some dark ambient style synths in the background. Most of the tracks are also very long and epic in length while the recording also mixes in a lot of electronic sounds and the noises also gives the songs more of an apocalyptic orientated atmosphere.
Spoken words can also be heard at times while all of the songs also sound very different from each other. At times the music also adds in some distorted style electronics along with a lot of the album also capturing an improvised atmosphere
P.U.M.A plays a musical style that takes noise, dark ambient and electronic music and mixes them together to create a sound of their own while the production also sounds very dark and lo-fi.
In my opinion P.U.M.A is a very great sounding mixture of noise, dark ambient and electronic music and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Luna" and "Titanium". 8 out of 10.
