Mother Demon are a musical project from the United States that plays a mixture of harsh noise, experimental and edm and this is a review of their 2019 ep "The Future Mother of the Anti-Christ" which was released by Nailed Nazarene Industries.
Harsh noise walls start off the ep along with some programmed beats a few seconds later which also introduces elements of edm onto the recording. Synths are also a very huge part of the music while industrial style sounds are also added into some parts of the recording and most of the songs are instrumentals.
All of the tracks sound very different from each other along with some static orientated noises also being mixed on top of the electronic dance sounds along with the music also capturing a very ritualistic and occult atmosphere at times and when screams are utilized they also add in a touch of black metal and spoken word samples are also added onto the closing track.
Mother Demon plays a musical style that takes harsh noise wall, experimental and edm and mixes them together to create something very original sounding and the production also sounds very dark.
In my opinion Mother Demon are a very great sounding mixture of harsh noise wall, experimental and edm and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Gnaw The Bone That Falls To Thy lot" and "The Ineffable Name". 8 out of 10.
