Vox Lilia are a solo project from Greece that plays a mixture of avant garde, experimental, industrial and noise and this is a review of his 2018 album "Monotony Murder" which was released by 8AM Records.
Atmospheric sounding drones start off the album while avant garde soundscapes are also utilized at times along with the first track being very long and epic in length as well as spoken word parts also being used briefly and synths are also added into certain sections of the recording.
At times the music gets very experimental while harsh noises are also utilized at times while some of the tracks are all instrumental along with some songs also adding in a sci-fi atmosphere and as the ep progresses the music gets more diverse as well as bringing in elements of industrial.
Vox Lilia plays a musical style that takes experimental, avant garde, industrial and noise and mixes them together to create something very original, the production sounds very dark while the song themes focus on metaphysics, schizophrenia and socialogical topics.
In my opinion Vox Lilia are a very great sounding mixture of experimental, industrial and noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Telepathic Animal" and "Exorcism". 8 out of 10.
