Hatred Of Sacred is a solo project from Jerusalem, Israel that plays a very occult and blackened form of techno and this is a review of her self released 2018 album "Styxtape I-XII" which will be released on September 23rd.
Dark sounding synths start off the album before going into more of a techno direction while also mixing in elements of ambient along with some background voices also being utilized at times as well as some guitar leads also being added into some parts of the music and they also give the songs more of a metal influence.
A great amount of programmed beats can also be heard quite a bit throughout the recording while all of the tracks sound very different from each other along with a couple of tracks also adding in a small amount of female vocals as well as some nature sounds also being utilized at times and as the album progresses the music starts getting more occult and ritualistic sounding.
Hatred Of Sacred plays a musical style that takes techno, rave, electronica and ambient and mixes them together with a touch of black metal to create something very original. the production sounds very dark while the song themes focus on occultism.
In my opinion Hatred Of Sacred are a very great sounding occult and blackened techno solo project and if you are looking for something very original, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Strangework" "Between Two Palm Trees" "Sea's Keys"adn "White Vessels". 8 out of 10.
