The Atrocity Circus are a trio from the United Kingdom that plays a mixture of harsh noise and power electronics and this is a review of their 2022 ep "Yellow Crooked Teeth" which will b e released in September by Trepanation Recordings.
Spoken word parts start off the ep and are also a very huge part of the recording while power electronics are also utilize quite a bit throughout the recording. All of the tracks are also very long and epic in length along with the songs also mixing in a great amount of harsh noises and the music also mixes in a great amount of sound manipulation.
All of the tracks also sound very different from each other while programmed beats and haunting atmospheres can also be heard at times. Synths and guitars are also added into certain sections of the recording and are also done in a very non traditional way.
The Atrocity Circus takes harsh noise and power electronics and mix them together to create a sound of t heir own. The production sounds very dark and lo-fi while the song themes focus on disturbing subjects.
In my opinion The Atrocity Circus are a very great sounding mixture of harsh noise and power electronics and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "These Buzzards In My Head" and "Rotten Fruit". 8 out of 10.
