Saáadon are a trio from Russia that plays a mixture of drone and dark ambient soundscapes and this is a review of their 2021 album "мреть (наутро ночь)" which was released by Cyclic Law.
Dark ambient style soundscapes start off the album while the music also mixes in a decent amount of synths and atmospheric sounding drones. Most of the tracks are also very long and epic in length along with the songs also having their cinematic moments and when vocals are utilized they are also done in a very clean style.
Clean playing can also be heard in some parts of the recording while all of the tracks also sound very different from each other. Distorted soundscapes can also be heard in certain sections of the album and melancholic sounding melodies can also be heard throughout most of the songs, one track is also an instrumental.
Saáadon plays a musical style that takes dark ambient soundscapes and drone and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark while the lyrics cover poetic themes.
In my opinion Saáadon are a very great sounding mixture of drone and dark ambient soundscapes and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this trio. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Край " and "Взор". 8 out of 10.
