Noise-A-Tron are a band from Washington that plays a synth driven form of drone and noise rock and this is a review of their 2015 "Vast Arcade" which will be released in April by Bleeding Light Records.
Atmospheric drones start off the album and a few seconds drums and psychedelic sounds are added onto the recording and after the intro the music goes for more of a heavy and melodic musical direction and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and all of the songs are instrumental.
Bass guitars for the most part dominate the recording as a lead instrument while other musical instruments are also used and there are also a couple of tracks that are very long and epic in length and when guitar riffs are utilized they add a doom metal feeling to the recording and all of the songs also stick to a slower direction.
Noise-A-Tron plays a style of drone, doom and noise rock that starts out very synth driven but slowly starts to evolved into more of a guitar and bass direction as the album progresses and each song also shows the band getting more heavy and melodic and the production also sounds very professional.
In my opinion Noise-A-Tron are a very great sounding mixture of drone, doom metal, ambient and noise and if you are a fan of those musical style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Seven" and "Eight". 8 out of 10.
