Necromishka are a duo form Israel that plays a mixture of experimental and dark ambient with elements of drone, neo-folk, industrial, post rock and black metal and this is a review of their self released 2018 album "The Space Between Us".
Experimental soundscapes start off the album along with some clean vocals while the music also brings in elements of post rock along with some drones also being added into some parts of the songs as well as some of the tracks being very long and epic in length and you can also hear the atmosphere of black metal at times.
A brief use of harsh noises can also be heard briefly while the acoustic guitars when they are utilized bring in elements of neo folk along with most of the tracks sounding very different from each other as well as one song also introducing spoken word parts onto the recording and as the album progresses influences of dark industrial can also be heard.
Necromishka plays a musical style that is mostly rooted in experimental and dark ambient while elements of drone, no-folk, black metal, post rock and industrial can also be heard throughout the recording, the production sounds very dark while the lyrics cover dark and philosophical themes.
In my opinion Necromishka are a very great sounding mixture of experimental and dark ambient with elements of drone, neo-folk, industrial, post rock and black metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Beast Of Pray" "Evil" and "There Is No Space between Us". 8 out of 10.
