Kammerheit are a solo project from Sweden that plays dark ambient and this is a review of his 2020 album "Thronal" which will be released in December by Cyclic Law.
Dark yet distorted soundscapes start off the album while also being very atmospheric sounding at the same time. When synths are utilized they also bring in elements of ambient onto the recording along with some drones also being brought into the music at times and all of the songs are also instrumental.
All of the tracks also sound very different from each other while the music also has its very primitive moments. At times the music also captures a very apocalyptic and nightmare orientated atmosphere along with a couple of the tracks also being long and epic in length and the music also brings in a very minimalist approach.
Kammerheit plays a musical style that is mostly rooted in dark ambient as well as adding in some drones and minimalist structures to create a sound of his own and keeping everything instrumental while the production sounds very dark.
In my opinion Kammerheit are a very great sounding dark ambient solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Before it Was Known As Sleep" "Now Golden, Now Dark" and "The Magnetic Throne".8 out of 10.
